Though it might not seem that ultraviolet lights have much to do with air quality, think again. Some recent scientific studies have shown that when a UV light is added to an air vent, it can increase the health benefits of the air that comes out of that vent.

Then, the radiation goes into the DNA of the microorganisms and modifies them, eventually destroying the molecules.
