We all spend a good amount of our time at home: it's where we feel most comfortable. Making sure the air in your home – and for that matter, at your office – is as pure and healthy as possible is a no-brainer. You can clean the air in your home, or other indoor spaces, in a number of different ways.
The most straightforward way to clean your indoor space is an air cleaner or purifier. They're designed to reduce and remove dust from the air in your home. If you have more serious concerns about air pollutants, there are air purifiers to suit those needs too; with different types of filters, different levels of intensity, and of course, different price tags to match.
Size and placement matter
No matter what type of air purifier you place in your indoor space, you need to think about where you put it. It should be placed in a high traffic, high use area. It can be installed in any room of a home or office, though make sure it's not in a closet or a low-use area. Also, consider the fan speeds available on your purifier. The bigger the fan, the more air the machine can purify and therefore, the larger home or office it will be suitable for.
If you want a long-time, serious solution, you can consider installing an air cleaner in your central duct system. The system will clean the air that comes out of the vents in your home, and when your furnace system blows contaminants into the air, a filter will catch those contaminants and automatically cleanse and purify the air in your home.
